A mixture of steam and diesel power...
The Late Summer Weekend offers a final summer holiday weekend of an intensive steam and diesel hauled train service for both enthusiasts and the general public alike.
Locomotives...
· LNER 4-6-2 no 60163 Tornado (runs both days)
· SR West Country 4-6-2 no 34046 Braunton (runs both days)
· WSR 2-6-0 no 9351 (runs both days)
· Class 52 no D1010 Western Campaigner (runs Saturday only)
· Class 42 no D832 Onslaught (runs Saturday only)
· Class 35 no D7017 (runs both days)
· Class 25 no D7523 (runs both days)
· Class 33 D6566 (runs Sunday only)
 
· The 3-car DMU runs both days between Bishops Lydeard and Norton Fitzwarren.
 
All the above is believed correct as at 2 August 2011 and listed in good faith. Not all engines will be working each day. All engines are, of course, subject to availability.

Norton Shuttle...
The three car DMU will operate a shuttle service between Bishops Lydeard and Norton Fitzwarren. On Saturday 3 September 2011 the DMU will depart from Bishops Lydeard at 11.45am, 12.45pm, 1.45pm amd 2.45pm. The round trip takes about 30 minutes.
