A product from the Centre for Alternative Industrial and Technological Systems was this road-rail bus - using a secondhand Bristol LH, NEL847M, from the Hants & Dorset fleet- seen here on the rails at Bishops Lydeard in the summer of 1980. Operating Superintendent Pete Henshaw watches closely.
