On 14 January 2003, Alan Grieve trecked up to Washford to view the excellent progress being made by the Company Permanent Way team as the section of track from Dragons Cross Bridge to Washford Station is relaid.
These images show why the Railway does not run trains in the deep winter weeks to allow for such considerable engineering tasks to be undertaken...
