 ·Ironwork recovery at Dulverton
The Steam Trust has been offered the iron work (hinges, strapping, bolts etc) from a set of redundant goods shed doors that are currently lying in Dulverton. The doors are the originals from the goods shed at Dulverton station and are believed to date from the 1870s. The owners are now keen for us to remove this ironwork, and we are looking for volunteers for this task - perhaps a gang of 4 or 5 people. What would be involved is a day out to Dulverton to break up the doors and remove the salvageable iron back to store at Bishops Lydeard.
