Days Out with Thomas™ 4 and 5 July 2009

Hello Children...
Come along with your family and friends to the West Somerset Railway over the weekend of 4th and 5th July for a Day out with Thomas and his many friends...
I will be there as well to make sure all engines behave themselves, and look forward to welcoming you.
Lots of friends of Thomas will pull all our trains from Bishops Lydeard (near Taunton) to Minehead.
You should buy your tickets in advance to reserve your seats on the morning trains. At Minehead there will be lots to see and do.
Engines will be fussing around the station area, trying to keep "Troublesome Trucks" in order. Thomas, Bill or Ben will be giving short train rides and will be really pleased to say hello to you!
You will be able to put water in the engines. There will also be games and competitions and other attractions on the platform. "Mrs Kyndley" will be serving refreshments in her cafe alongside Platform 2, and the "Buffer Stop Shop" will also be open throughout the weekend.

Train Timetables...
Advance bookings are essential and the first three trains from Bishops Lydeard (Gordon's & Henry's train and the Sodor Express) are pre-booked only due to the high demand. You may return from Minehead on any train.
Prices...
For a return trip on the first three trains from Bishops Lydeard (Gordon's & Henry's train and the Sodor Express) is £17.00 per Adult, £8.50 per Child (2-15) and Seniors are £15.00. A Family Ticket is £43.00 and all the above are pre booked only.
Trains after the Sodor Express at 11.10 are £16.00 per Adult, £8.00 per Child (2-15), Seniors are £14.00 and Family Ticket is £41.00.
You can visit the attractions on Minehead station and a platform ticket is available only on the day. An Adult Platform Ticket is £4.50, a Child Platform Ticket is £3.00 and children under two are free. All Thomas entertainment is included as well as a ride behind Thomas!
