| If you are coming by the M5 motorway from the north, leave at Junction 25, and follow the brown "WSR" tourist signs through Taunton, onto the A358 towards Minehead. Don't take the road to Bishops Lydeard village, but continue on the main road for about half-a-mile, before turning left. Take the next left for the main car park. If you are coming by the M5 motorway from the south, leave at Junction 26, and make for Taunton on the A38. When you enter the outskirts of Taunton, turn left at the first roundabout, following the brown "WSR" tourist signs, onto the A358 towards Minehead, then find Bishops Lydeard Station as described above. See next column for Sat Nav information. |
|
For those wishing to start at the seaside end, Minehead Station can be found right on the seafront at Minehead. There are several nearby pay-and-display car parks.
