The three-day Mixed Traffic Weekend recalls the days when the Diesel Hydraulics - the Westerns, the Warships and the Hymeks - ruled the Western Region. Other diesel types from those far off days are not left out with Classes 25, 33 and 47 also appearing. Steam haulage will be courtesy of the celebrated Peppercorn A1 Pacific 4-6-2 no 60163 Tornado - a brand new steam locomotive completed in 2008.
