 • Summer Saturdays in the West...
The Mixed Traffic Weekend - a new event - is themed on the changeover years on the Western Region of British Railways in the mid 1960s with a variety of steam and diesel trains typical of the era.

 • Williton...
At Williton Station you will have the opportunity to visit the excellent Diesel Heritage centre, which features much information about the early Western Region diesels in particular. The shed/workshop of the Diesel and Electric Preservation group will also be open, offering a rare glimpse inside, and several locomotives will be on display in the yard, several of which can be "cabbed". The DEPG sheds and yard area will be open on all three days, 10 till 5pm. The engineering base of the WSRA will not be open. For more information on the DEPG please click here...

A number of trains will shuttle between Minehead and Dunster/Blue Anchor on the Friday and Saturday.

 • Bus Links...
A special free bus service linking Taunton Station, Taunton Park and Ride Car Park at Silk Mill and Bishops Lydeard Station will run every thirty minutes on all three days. The service will start from 9am from Taunton Station each day, with the last bus connecting with the final train arrival each day at Bishops Lydeard.
 • Tickets...
Advance tickets are now available for this event at discounted prices. A Three Day Rover costs £35 per adult and £17.50 per child; a Two Day Rover costs £26 per adult and £13 per child (please indicate which two days); a One Day Rover costs £17 per adult, £16 per senior citizen, £8.50 per child or £35 per family (two adults and two children), again please indicate which day you requires. These prices are for Rover tickets purchased in advance. A full range of tickets will be available on the day.
