On Saturday 26 May 2007 a steam train ride through the Somerset countryside to an evening of Jazz on the station platform at Minehead. After your train leaves Bishops Lydeard at 6.30pm traditional Fish and Chips (or a vegetarian option if you prefer) will be served to you at your seat. On arrival at Minehead the band will be playing on the platform and a bar will be open.
The train leaves again at 8.30pm for the journey back to Bishops Lydeard. What better way to start the Bank Holiday Weekend?. Your payment includes the return train journey, your fish and chips, a glass of wine (or non-alcoholic alternative) and the live music at Minehead.
Fares are £22 per adult - please note this train is for adults only.

• Swing Band Evening - 28 July 2007

Live music on the platform of Minehead Station plus a steam train ride there and back. The band will be swinging the evening away with tunes from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. Feel free to dress the part if you wish.
Your train will leave Bishops Lydeard at 6.30pm. Sausage and chips (or a vegetarian alternative) will be served to you at your seat, together with a glass of wine (or a non-alcoholic drink) Your payment includes the return train fare, the hot food, a drink, and the entertainment.
