"The Gala 30th March - 1st April will operate as planned:

a. Visitors should park only in authorised car parks, details of these and the special courtesy bus services will be posted in Update 3 to be published on 20th March and Update 5 to be published 27th March.
b. Photographers and other train watchers must confine their activities to stations. Special photographers enclosures are being created wherever possible. Locations and further advice for photographers will be posted on this site on 27th March.

Visitors are warned that many footpaths and all farm and moorland is closed and they should KEEP OUT. We are advised that the authorities will not hesitate to prosecute those who transgress (the Regulations permit fines up to £ 5000)."

A correspondent added this advice on 14 March

For anyone visiting Blue Anchor, Ker Moor is farmland, and so closed, as is the coast path along the top of the beach and the footpath to Carhampton across Ker Moor. The beach itself is open, but you wouldn't see much more than a chimney and the tops of roofs.

Update issued 20 March

Nothing added to previous instructions and guidance which remain in force.
