Come and enjoy a relaxing meal of fish and chips on your very own special train hauled by one of our steam locomotives, as the train makes its leisurely away along the West Somerset Railway from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead and return.
You will have a specially reserved seat on one of our special trains, which will normally depart from Bishops Lydeard at 6.45pm.
A meal of fish and chips, together with a glass of wine, will be served to your table during the outward journey to Minehead, where we will arrive at approximately 8pm.
A vegetarian option is also available.
After about an hour in the seaside town of Minehead, the special train will return to Bishops Lydeard.

When do the Fish & Chip Specials run...

Fish & Chip Specials will operate on the following Saturday evenings in 2006:
· 6 May
· 24 June
· 22 July
· 12 August
· 26 August
The cost of tickets to travel on our Fish & Chip Specials is £16.50 (Adult) and £12.50 (Child), which includes the return train fare, your meal and a glass of wine or soft drink.
Children are classed as those aged between 5-15 inclusive.
Please note that, for hygiene reasons, we do not permit dogs to travel on trains where food is served.
All tickets must be pre-booked. EARLY BOOKING is strongly recommended, and last bookings are to be made by the Tuesday before the particular train on which you wish to travel.
