Preparing to lift the Cabinet ©Alan Grieve On 6 March 2003, the Railway's Signal and Telegraph Gang moved to Dunster West Level Crossing with the travelling crane to remove the old bracket signal post. This sentinel has been in position for years and once controlled the twin single lines between Dunster and Minehead but has never seen use with the present Company. As can be seen the task proved rather more testing than at first imagined.
