An afternoon back in time...

What better way to spend a Friday afternoon during the summer - enjoying good food on a leisurely steam train journey back in time...

The West Somerset Railway's "Cream & Steam" offers a forty mile round trip through some of the best scenery in the West Country, passing Dunster Castle, Blue Anchor Beach and the stunning Quantock Hills.

The WSR Cream Tea will be served aboard the 2pm Minehead to Bishops Lydeard train at your table in the specially reserved carriage after the stop at Williton.

Local produce...

Wherever possible, only good local produce is used and the following local producers for the "Cream & Steam" are:

Travel arrangments

The cost is £11 per adult and £8 per child and includes return train fare and cream tea.

Cream teas are served on the 2pm Minehead to Bishops Lydeard train. There are two options for Cream & Steam time-travellers...

•	Round trip from Minehead	Start by boarding the 2pm train at Minehead for the round trip to Bishops Lydeard and back
•	Round trip from Bishops Lydeard	Start by boarding an early train from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead, making sure you can catch the 2pm from Minehead for the return trip to Bishops Lydeard.

 • 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 August
 • 5, 12, 19 September
