The West Somerset Railway on the WebCamra Real Ale Weekend 2002
The through train from Finsbury Park duly arrived - thirteen coaches hauled by an English, Welsh and Scottish Railways Class 66 no 66132 - cascading hundreds of people onto the large platform at Minehead. Not surprisingly, many were interested in the 38 different ales on offer, not to mention six ciders. The Diesel & Electric Preservation Group's Western diesel-hydraulic D1010 "Western Campaigner" performed well - the first duty since completion of a heavy repair. Pictures updated 15 September 2002
