Lineside Passes for Photographers...
| |
| |
|
The Railway issues Lineside Passes which allow photographers access to most non-public areas. A valid Lineside Pass opens up nearly all of the twenty three miles of the highly scenic West Somerset Railway, most of which is well away from public areas such as platforms and bridges and footpaths. The cost is very reasonable and the revenue helps maintain Britain's longest heritage railway.
Lineside Passes are normally issued by post from the office at Minehead on receipt of a completed application form, two passport-style photos and remittance. Printable application forms are available on this page.
